Day 2 – High altitudes and beautiful views

Day 2 for Team 1 consisted of some real challenges, with the biggest one being the altimeters. The day started in Peje, Kosovo at 8.30 in the morning. During the day the team entered Montenegro and was completely taken aback by the beautiful landscape. Some rain during the day caused some challenges while going down-hill, but all went well and around 5 p.m the sun broke through again. The last kilometers of the day went through valleys leading up to an old Montenegro ski resort. The many altimeters during the day posed a real challenge, but the team pushed through and kept a good atmosphere throughout all of the 189 kilometers. They could all easily agree on Montenegro offering one of the most astonishing landscapes they’ve ever seen.
