Day 13 – Berlin to Rostock
In Berlin, the fourth and final stage of Cycle4Europe 2019 began. We welcomed back Peter and Jonas who both participated in the first stage between Skopje and Sarajevo. They were both really excited to be back and to be taking on the route from Berlin to Varberg. The team were also joined by two new cyclists; Markus and Joakim.
At 8.30 in the morning, the team left the hotel and headed for Rostock – the longest stage of all stages cycled during Cycle4Europe. Both in and outside of Berlin we passed roads from the war still containing concrete blocks intended for tanks. It was a day filled with a lot of hard rain, but the team kept up a good pace and an even better mood throughout the entire day. Soon before sunset we arrived in Rostock and at 11 p.m. the ferry took off for Trelleborg.
